Bounded on the north by a hill region of Nepal and extending to the border of its parent district Darbhanga in the south, Sitamarhi in the west and Supaul in the east, Madhubani fairly represents the centre of the territory once known as Mithila and the district has maintained a distinct individuality of its own.Madhubani ,word derived from Madhur Vani.So very sweet language is being spoken here.Now people are fastly moving from village to different cities for progressive lifeIt is very peacuful city.Several malls also has come up within 2 yrs.All festivals is celebrated with pump & show.Life is very peaceful & slow here.Once you landed you can feel the peace & naturality of this place.Madhubani is part of Mithilanchal which also has pockets in Nepal.This is the same Mithila from where Sita belonged.People of madhubani wores very innocent look & still they have not fully give in to materilistic lifestyle.Health -consciousness & civic sense is on lighter side.The penetration of commerce is also moving fastly but immaturely.Density is very much in town.There has been drastic change since when i used to stay there.Nowdays people are self-centred & avoid to talk which was unlikely 13 yrs ago.The sideeffect of Mobile & JIO could be easily seen on teenagers.Inspite of big leaders ,madhubani is yet to get its proper due & recognition. Madhubani ,needless to say, is famous for Madhubani paintings.MAI (Mithila arts institute) located opp Mahila college road,imparts training to talented person.Life is not stressful here,people remain happy & vocal.Politics is in evrery person blood.Some people are more worry about neighbour rather than themselves.Public transportation needs to be checked as overloading & time-consuming.Leaders are available for view only once in 5 years.Higher education institute is also required.Employment exchange needs to work overtime to check blindly migration of brain drain.Last but not the least economy needs to revamp just like rest of Bihar.Jai Madhubani.
